State and Provincial Water Management and Water Conservation and Efficiency Program Reports Available
Article 300 of the Great Lakes St. Lawrence River Basin Sustainable Water Resources Agreement states that, "Each [State and Province] shall submit a report to the Regional Body, detailing the Water
management and Water conservation and efficiency programs that implement this
Agreement in their jurisdiction....The...report shall be provided by each jurisdiction....every 5 years."
whether the Water management program provisions in this Compact are being met, and if not, recommend options to assist the Parties in meeting the provisions of this Compact
In compliance with this requirement, each of the parties have submitted their program reports, which can be found on this website. The reports may be revised and updated, and it will be noted if that has occurred.
The programs are now undergoing review by the States and Provinces, and Declarations of Finding on the State and Provincial programs are scheduled for release at the December 2025 meeting of the Regional Body.
