Data Centers in the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Region

It’s hard to watch the news these days without hearing about data centers. Have you ever wondered how their water use is regulated? Today, the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Compact Council and Regional Body released a short overview on data centers in the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Basin and an overview of State and Provincial water management laws and programs.

Beyond the Compact and Agreement, our region’s States and Provinces are working together through GSGP on data center issues. This includes webinars, water reuse discussions, and meetings to discuss this rapidly evolving industry.
